About Mr. Patterson

Gregory W. Patterson has successfully litigated high profile, high stakes matters in the state and federal courts of California, New York, Minnesota, and Delaware – including frequent appearances in the Delaware Chancery Court. These matters have routinely concerned multi-million dollar breach of contract or fraud claims relating to mergers and acquisitions, director and officer compensation, holdback consideration, factoring agreements, nondisclosure agreements, restrictive covenants, and shareholder derivative actions. Due to his unique talents, and the dearth of attorneys with the actual ability and willingness to try cases, Mr. Patterson has previously served as Of Counsel at law firms for the express purpose of presenting cases that actually go to trial. Mr. Patterson has extensive jury trial experience, having tried long form jury trials lasting longer than 30 days involving complex disputes of facts and law. This trial experience often forces opposing parties to settle cases early rather than risking a protracted litigation that is unlikely to be successful. Mr. Patterson represents both plaintiffs and defendants and is amenable to flexible fee arrangements such as hourly, contingency, fixed fee, or a hybrid of these.

Mr. Patterson attended a top tier law school – The University of Texas School of Law – where he won numerous awards for skillful trial and appellate advocacy. Mr. Patterson has been awarded a special commendation from the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, a leading global organization for attorneys demonstrating superior advocacy in judicial forums.
